I really like the first one a lot. I sweat ALL THE TIME too so I understand your concerns about this dress. But the neck line is so cool and it’s not form fitting, so it should be cooler on than you think. Plus, New York might be over their heat wave by the time you go there. If you go with the first dress, you could get a cute pair of pumps, the ones with a small wedge for the heel, that might even have a buckle or something dressy on the top of them. And you could go with black like the model is wearing or if you’re really lucky, maybe you could find a dark purple (maybe suede). I don’t know where you live, but I live in Central CA and we have a store called Fashion Bug that has REALLY cute plus sizes for relatively cheap. I just had to buy a dress for my 25th high school reunion, and I haven’t worn a dress in over 20 years (or heels for that matter) and they had summer dresses on sale. I got a really cute dress that was originally $60 for $24. I have money problems too so this was a great find for me. Then I found shoes to match at Payless Shoe Source that only cost $12! The first one is cute, but yeah, it might be hot. Maybe that style, different fabric? Of course….what are the temps in NYC these days? Maybe it’s already a little cool there.
