Do you love Yo Gabba Gabba!? When it first aired on Nickelodeon in 2007 I thought the creators were on crack. It was just so wild and weird. But then we watched it…and watched it…and watched it some more. It quickly became a favorite for my boys. I guess they like wild and weird! And after watching it so much, I came to realize that Yo Gabba Gabba! was cool and had a lot of really great learning stories.
Well now Yo Gabba Gabba is going on tour and I want to go! There are currently only three cities on their tour. I don’t know if there will be more added or not, but the cities currently scheduled are:
- Los Angeles, CA on November 14th
- New York, NY on November 21st
- Chicago, IL on December 5th
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, October 9, 2009 at Ticketmaster and YoGabbaGabbaLive.com.
In addition to taking their show on the road, the group is releasing their first ever music CD: Yo Gabba Gabba! Music is Awesome! This CD will feature the songs from the show that your kids have grown to love and will be available for purchase on October 20th (but can be pre-ordered now!) from Amazon, iTunes and Target.
I will be receiving one soon to review, so I’ll be sure to tell you what I think about it.

Simple. Tell me something you love about Yo Gabba Gabba! It can be a favorite episode, character, story line. Whatever. Personally, we LOVE Biz’s Beat of the Day. It’s really fun to watch the boys spit all over themselves while trying to copy the beat boxing sounds of Biz Markie!

I lve that we all get moving and silly with Yo Gabba Gabba. Both my boys love Brobee!!
I was LMAO when I read your comment about how you originally thought the show’s creators were on “crack” when you first saw the show! I felt the same way! Like a bad acid trip or something! (FYI – I’ve never done the drug – but I can just imagine how funny and scary it would be to watch the show while “trippin”!) My 4 year old LOVES the show and we both laugh at the guy with the orange fuzzy hat on! We’re keeping our eyes out for them to come either to Fresno or Bakersfield (along with Dora, Barney, etc, etc). I remember waiting in line for HOURS to get tickets to see Van Halen or Aerosmith in my day but now we’re HEROS if we can get tickets to one of the Nickelodeon or Disney shows!
i really like all of the songs I find myself using them in everyday life for example after the girls get out of the bath I will sing the mini spinny song while I put on their lotion or sing “try it, you’ll like” or “party in tummy” at dinner time. all my kids love it and we are actually going to the show in Nov. at the Shrine auditorium i know my kids will be so excited

Oh my there are too many favorites to write. We love there is a party in my tummy and Don’t bite your friends as far as songs. Plex and Brobee are our favorite characters. lol
We have only watched this show a few times but I love how it encourages kids to get up and move and sing. I love the episode that has Elijah Wood dancing like a puppet and singing some weird song!

We are new YGG watchers, I too thought they were on crack but my son loves the dancing! I was trying to make his STOP watching, but he insists so here we are. So far I like Party In My Tummy best.
