Wordless Wednesday ~ Jedi Face

I had full intentions of coming here today and sharing pictures from my twins’ 4th birthday party that happened last weekend. But as I was going through all the pictures I snapped, I realized that Gabriel has a problem. He thinks he is a Jedi. And in almost every picture that he “smiled” for…he made his “Jedi Face.” I ended up laughing so hard that my boys started laughing at me!

So today, I share Gabriel’s Jedi Face.

I didn’t even realize he made his face in this cake picture!  It makes me LOL!

And why does he think that this face is a face that Jedi’s make??

Anyhow, happy Wordless Wednesday!  Maybe I’ll get “real” birthday pictures up later in the week.

His Jedi face is very cute :) I hope he got at least one light saber for his birthday, and one of those cute Yoda backpack buddies I saw on Amazon.
I feel your pain–in, like, 100 pictures from our vacation my daughter is sticking her tongue out and trying to cross her eyes. Should make for an interesting scrap book.

You know, they DID get those cool Yoda Backpacks for their birthday!! They are so funny, but they are too big! I can’t adjust them down to their size so I need to modify them some. And they already have oodles of light sabers. :)

    Poem: Gabriel’s Jedi Eye
Mom, I’m going to give you the Jedi Eye,
because I’m 4 today and that is why.
I can’t help it if my twin brother is more interested in the letters and dots on the cake,
and isn’t intersted in the silly face I make.
Mom, we’re both good sons here,
my brother just prefers to make faces that look sweet and dear.
I prefer to wear my cape,
and with my eyes make a Jedi face shape.
Mom may the force be with you,
because four years ago you gave birth to boy trouble times two.
    Mom, Happy Birthday to me,
someday I’ll grow up to star in the Gabriel Jedi triology.

LOL Lauralee! I love the poems you make for me. I had to share this one with the hubby and he got a laugh out of it, too. Thank you!

You’re welcome. I can’t help it, the poem bug hit me in junior high. I don’t know why. So, every now and then , I have to let the silliness out once again.

Lol, that truly is funny, how long has he been a jedi for?

That’s too funny! It’s near impossible to get my Gabriel to smile nicely for a picture, either
