This is going to be the first of many fund raising posts to support my walk in the Susan G. Komen 3 Day for the Cure. All walkers devote the time to raise $2300.00 for the cure. Now, this may seem like a lot. And it is. But cancer is expensive people! Detection, treatment, prevention, and education are all so very important in the pursuit to end breast cancer and I will be using all my online resources to raise beyond $2300.00! My current goal is $3000.00. This is where YOU come in.
I am selling pink ribbons.
How it works:
- You use my donation form at the bottom of this post to make a tax-deductible donation.
- There is a $5 minimum with the online form (and NO MAXIMUM), please donate what you can.
- On the donation form “personal note” leave me the name of someone in your life that means the world to you.
- I will write that loved ones name on a pink ribbon and attach it to my shirt to wear during the walk.
Now this person may or may not have had a breast cancer diagnosis. I don’t care. We are fighting for everyone. Feel free to leave me your dad’s name, since men can get breast cancer, too. If you have someone that you love, that has either beat breast cancer, passed from breast cancer or someone who may have it in the future…donate for them. Donate to the world’s largest source of non-profit funds devoted to the fight against breast cancer.

To find the comments:
Click on the “My Progress” box in your Participant Center, then click “View”, and it will show you what the comment says. View and Receipt are actually 2 different links, even though it doesn’t look like it!
Also, $5 is the minimum the site lets you do.

I actually found where the notes went just a bit ago. I was being impatient and just needed to give it time to process. But I didn’t know about the $5min on the form, so thanks for telling me that!
