Should I Laugh or Cry?

I mentioned the excruciating pain that I have been having in my foot the other day.  Went to the doctor today.  More than likely, I have a stress fracture.

I tried calling my OB/GYN office two days in a row to find out about scheduling a biopsy for my “tooma” (It’s not a tooma).  They have yet to receive my radiology report from the breast ultrasound I had on Tuesday.

*sigh*

I’m feeling a little lost right now.

On one hand.  I really want to cry.  My foot hurts.  I want to walk in The 3 Day and I’m stuck sitting.  I want to lose weight but I’m stuck sitting.  I want to go shopping but I’m stuck sitting.  See where I’m going with that?  There is also the very real possibility that this stupid lump could be something serious…like cancer.  That would just suck eggs.

On the other hand, I keep making jokes.  I think Bob should be extra nice to me since I have a tooma.  I also think he should do the dishes since I have a broken foot.  I think everyone should be bending over backwards to be sweet to me.  Don’t you?  I do know how to milk it… Me and my friend Cheryl are joking all day long trying to think of a name for my tooma.

I think I just really hate waiting.

((hugs)) Rhea I’m sorry all this is going on. I hope you get good answers soon.

    Oh, Rhea! I can’t imagine the waiting and what it’s doing to you. I hope you find answers soon and they can do something for the pain in your foot. So sorry! {{HUGS}}

Oh and to answer your question…you gotta laugh or you’ll cry. :)

I’m thinking bob won’t work as the tooma name. Might get confusing with the actual Bob that’s living in your house as opposed to your breast. Hm. what’s a good tooma name? Maybe we should have a raffle and we can raise money for the Komen foundation!!

Tooma Fruit Of The Looma. Sorry, that’s really stink-o.
I feel sorry for you about your foot, but at least your Dr.
looked at it and had it x-rayed. When I told my Military
Dr. that I thought I had a broken bone in my foot leading
to my left great toe from a muscle spasm she wouldn’t
even look at it. No X-ray, no nothing. I walked around
with pain for over six months and just about two weeks
ago could start bending that toe about half way. It still
hurts if I’m on my foot or walk too long, but at least it
isn’t horrible like it was before causing me to put most
of my weight on the outside aspect of that foot. That’s
hard on the hips after a while and you start feeling it
there when you walk cat-a-wonkers like that.
I’m saying prayers for you that everyone in your house
treats you extra nice, does the things around the place
that you need them to do in a non-grouchy way, and
that you’re tooma is nothing really nothing at all.
    God Bless.

I hope you get an answer soon as well as a healed foot!

Just keep laughing, since that’s the best medicine.

And name it Alejandro, that way you can sing that Lady Gaga song about it…”Don’t bother me, don’t bother me, Alejandro.” ;)

I have been enthusiastically following your 3-Day Walk preperations – so impressed with your efforts and results. Now I am so sorry to hear of your possible stress fracture and your impending biobsy. Please know we are sending you positive and loving thoughts. We are so rooting for you…
    Best regards from Walnut Creek.
