Sam’s Club eValues are Cool

Have you tried using your eValues at Sam’s Club yet?  They are the super cool electronic coupons that Sam’s Club gives you just for being a Plus Member.  You can check what eValues are available, as well as what ones are coming up, just by logging into your account at SamsClub.com or by using the kiosk in your local store.

I checked mine today and am thrilled to see that some of my favorite items have coupons attached.  Sam’s Club is my favorite place to buy boneless skinless chicken breasts because even when it’s not on sale…the price can’t be beat.  And right now, my eValues has a $2.00 off coupon!  Not to mention the Advil that we eat like candy around here and the OxiClean that I need to wash my dirty nasty boys’ laundry…I have eValues for all of them.  And these are only a few of the items I have on my eValues list.

Have you checked what is on yours?

Sam’s Club provided me with monetary compensation for my participation in the Labor Day eValues Campaign.  The opinions are still always mine.

Come to Open House at Sam’s Club!

Friday August 6 – Sunday August 8

Check Local Store Hours

Sam’s Club will be hosting an open house at all of their warehouse locations!  During the weekend, non-members will be invited to shop and have the normal 10% non-member service charge waived.

“We’re hosting this open house to welcome families with children in school and college to experience how Sam’s Club can simplify their back-to-school shopping,” said Mike Turner, senior vice president, Membership at Sam’s Club. “This event is also ideal for small business owners to try Sam’s Club and let us show how we can save them both time and money with member benefits like Click and Pull and invoice comparisons.” Turner added, “This is a great opportunity for our members to bring friends and family to try Sam’s Club risk free.”

Parents with college bound students may want to take advantage of Sam’s Club collegiate membership. Sam’s Club is offering a $15 gift card to any new collegiate member. Some of the benefits of a collegiate membership include sharing the membership with a roommate to make stock up simple and additional gift card offers to Sam’s Club when purchasing coursework on www.textbooks.com.

So, if you are not a current member of Sam’s Club, this is your opportunity to check out what all the fuss is about!  Learn why I like them so much and why I know you will love them, too.

Let Sam’s Club Provide Your July Fourth Fun

I have really big, close knit family.  It’s been a long standing joke with us that we will use “any excuse for a party.”  We recently went camping and I took advantage of Sam’s Club to plan and throw a mega-huge family celebration.  It was awesome!

I started out by following Sam’s Club suggestions for a Big Party Fourth Celebration.  Online they have everything you need to plan and execute a top-notch party.  Tips for food, fun and special finishing touches.  Everything from delicious burgers to red, white and blue decor.  They’ve got it covered.  And the best part was that I could get it all in one place, no dragging three obnoxious little boys all over town!

I started out with my list (that you can create right on their website based off of their suggestions) and I headed to town.  Now, items in store may vary from the items listed online.  I was really excited to try out their organic beef burgers (you know, since I’m trying to cut out all preservatives in our house).  I was a little bummed that they did not carry the organic burgers in my local store.  The one thing I’ve learned from being a mom is the art of improvisation!  So I just substituted for something else.  Something like Top Sirloin Steaks.  Oh.  Darn.

My cousin Lisa – our family chef and griller extraordinaire!

I was able to grab everything else we needed for our large weekend celebration.  Plates, drinks, red potato salad (that my family just raved about), decorations and games.  It was so convenient.

Fresh Berries! YUM!

Got it!

Safe! or “Honk!”

Maybe you don’t have a GIANT family like me, Sam’s Club still has your party needs covered.  They have party planning ideas for a Traditional cookout, a Gourmet Soiree, Kid Friendly antics, and stuff for On The Go adventures.

I just really have to say that my everyone at my party raved.  The food was delish, the games were fun and the family time was priceless.

What kind of party are you planning for the July Fourth holiday?

Grim Grill Finalists Announced! Are You One of Them?

Sam’s Club executives have chosen the 10 finalists in their Grim Grill contest.  Did you enter?  Could you be a finalist?  It’s quite possible because there were a shockingly low number of entries.  I guess nobody needed a $1300 Grill.

If you  don’t know what the heck I’m talking about, visit the Sam’s Club Spring website for all the details on the contest as well as other Spring themed fun.

I get the pleasure of telling you who the 10 finalists are and then I (along with the other Sam’s Club Community Bloggers) get to chose the winner.  How much fun is that?  I’ve never been a part of awarding a $1300 prize before, it’s very cool.  The final entries just made me laugh and I already have a favorite…but you don’t get to find out who it is until the 20th.

Here are the finalists’ pleas.  Click on the images to make them bigger and you can read their stories.  They are quite amusing!

Do you have a favorite??
