Mothers, Birthday’s and Baby’s – Oh My!
Well, Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s out there!! Do you have any great plans?
Today also happens to be my twins’ 4th birthday! I can’t believe they are 4 years old…not babies any more. So today we are focusing more on their birthday than Mother’s Day. In part because they are 4 ad it’s all about them, and the other part is because my niece is having a hard time with the absence of her (psycho) mother. So our Mother’s Day is being played down and that is just fine with me.
Something cool though is that my Intended Parents (the surrogate baby‘s family) will be here to spend the day with us. I think it’s super cool that we can be together on Mother’s Day!
I’m sorry I haven’t posted much recently. I am one day away from delivering this baby. I’ve been so tired! Today marks 39 weeks and 1 day pregnant and I am done. So my brain has been a bit spacey and I just haven’t been able to blog about much since I haven’t done much. I could log on and tell you all about sitting in my recliner watching the boys play video games…but it’s not real exciting.
Next week, though, I will have all kinds of stories as I introduce you to the new baby of the World! In the meantime, I hope you have a great day today and if you are a mom, I hope you get to relax and enjoy it!
Wordless Wednesday ~ Mother's Day
I have a whole LOT of pictures for you today. On Mother’s Day, my family went to the beach. Here is my day.
Can’t have Mother’s Day without me. Here is the only pic you get.
Here is MY mom (and my nephew).
Really, how can kids stand all that sand???
My brother helping Mr. A. with his cool dragon kite. Too bad we didn’t get enough wind to get it off the ground.
My nephew! His dad buried him. LOL!
The brothers were facinated…
NayNay’s turn. BoBo is helping with the rescue.
My youngest neice…”Hobo.” Again, what’s with that sand??! Crazy kids.
It was a really good day…

REVIEW ~ Things Remembered Charm Story Bracelet
Alright people, in case you haven’t noticed, Mother’s Day is right around the corner. One week from today to be exact. What have you gotten for your mom, or the mother of your children? If you are stumped and looking for a beautiful last minute idea, I have a suggestion for you.
I have always loved Things Remembered. I like having things personalized, it makes a gift that much more special. So when I was offered the chance to review one of the Chapter Charm Story bracelet‘s, I took it.
About the charm bracelet’s:
Every story begins on the first page of the first chapter. We designed our silver-plated First Chapter charms to give you the perfect canvas to engrave the many meaningful details of her life. And now, for a limited time only, we’re giving you our exclusive charm bracelet or necklace plus a First Chapter charm for just $30. So it’s easy for you to create her very own special charm story with the charms she’ll always remember!
My bracelet is beautiful. The charms are high quality, heavy (not hollow) metal. I like that the charms have a necklace type clasp on them, it makes it easy to move them and get them on and off. I do have to mention that when I was at the store the other day, my charm did fall off. I would not have known if the nice clerk hadn’t seen it fall to the floor. I inspected it and there was no damage. The only thing I can think of is that I leaned on it in such a way as to open the clasp. Not an easy thing to do, I could not recreate it. But it did happen.
They have charms for all of your special occasions. Weddings, birth’s, vacations and many more. You will find a charm to represent any memory. My husband is ordering me two more birthstone charms so I have them for the twins. Personalized charms make for a special gift for any occasion, especially Mother’s Day!
Orders placed online at ThingsRemembered.com can still arrive in time for Mother’s Day, but you must have your order placed before Monday May 4th, Midnight (Eastern Time). You can also visit your local Things Remembered store, which I have found located in most major shopping malls. Go get this for your mom…she will love it!

My family was fortunate to get to sample some of Edible Gifts Plus Birthday Biscotti.

Here is my family on video trying this YUMO treat:
Maybe you couldn’t tell, but we loved the Birthday Biscotti. It was fresh, and delicious. Honestly, Biscotti isn’t my favorite cookie, but I was really impressed by how good these were. They did not taste like cardboard dipped in chocolate, which is kinda what I expected. I even picked up and ate Eddie’s biscotti that he set down on the ground. But don’t let that be any indication…Eddie would rather eat veggie’s over a cookie any day. Weirdo.
In case you have been under a rock, you know that Mother’s Day is May 10th. Not too far away. EdibleGiftsPlus.com has some awesome Mother’s Day gift ideas. Here are a couple that I might like (not like I am leaving hints or anything).
