Clues That Your Toddlers Play too Many Video Games

You go outside to check on the twins playing and one runs up and exclaims:   “Mommy, we’re playing two players!”

Everything is a “level.”

  • We go to pick up big brother from school:  “this is the car level”
  • Eating lunch:  “this is the lunch level”
  • Running around signing the Darth Vader theme music…you guessed it…”we’re playing the Darth Vader level!”

“Mommy, can we play the Wii?”
no
“Mommy, can I play Anthony’s DSi?”
no
“Mommy, can we play the Playstation?”
NO!
Mommy says:  “Why don’t you go outside and play two players?”

We are playing the “car level” when I am asked repeatedly, “when we get home can we play the Wii?”
over, and over, and over

I’ve created little monsters.  I should change my blog to mommy23monsters.

Seriously ~ Is it just Boys?

We wait until 10am to go outside and play.  This is mainly to be a good neighbor and let my dad, who lives next door, sleep in.  This morning, the boys spent a good hour begging and crying “is it time to go outside, yet??!!!”  They drove me crazy!

It is now 10:30am and they are back in the house playing the Wii.

I even said, “so you begged to go outside and now you are just sitting here playing video games.”

To which Dennis replied: “no, we play the Wii.”

Oh, my mistake.
