Fat Flinging Friday ~ Week 6

Good morning Flingers!  What’s up?  I am happy today.  I checked my scale and am down 6 pounds!  woot!  It’s the same 6 pounds that I’ve gained and lost over the past few weeks, but at least it was a loss today!  I am also very happy to report that I walked 2 days this week.  YAY me!  Me, my mom and Mr. A. took off walking and did just over 1 mile each day.

I started my damn period today so I’m hoping I am retaining water or something and will be down some more next weigh in.

Who was it that posted about the 100 Push Up Challenge?  Someone left it in a comment somewhere and now I can’t remember where it was. *blush*  Anyhow, I was thinking of trying it.  What do you think?  Too ambitious?  I mean, I only did 2 days of my 30 day  EA Sports Active challenge.  LOL  As much as I tell myself I am going to start busting out, I never do.  So we’ll see.

Fat Flinging Friday ~ Week 5

Honestly, I don’t even want to write this post today.  I’m so frustrated.  I as at the same weight I was last week.  I had a challenge for myslef to get 3 days of exercise in this past week.  I didn’t do it.  Well, yesterday I walked all over hell’s half acre at the San Diego Fair, so that can count as 1 day.  Actually, I should count it as 3 days worth of exercise but that would “technically” be cheating.

So please inspire me with your stories, or if you sucked this week, tell me so I won’t feel so bad.

Fat Flinging Friday ~ Week 3

Hey all.  Welcome to Fat Flinging Friday!  My little weekly weight loss support group.  If you are looking for a fun group to hang with and share fat flinging stories, then pull up a treadmill and hang with the monkeys.

I would like to announce that I lost 5 pounds!  Woot!  Now, I weighed myself first thing in the morning, before coffee and after peeing.  So it may not have been 100% accurate, but I’ll take it!  And this is despite the fact that I didn’t work out even once this week.  I was lame.  But I just never got to it.  But I’ve been trying really hard to eat better and I haven’t been snacking.  I’ve also been up and around with the boys a lot more and that’s great.

Fat Flinging Friday ~ Week 2

Hey!  Happy Friday!  Welcome to week 2 of Fat Flinging Friday.  My little weekly weight loss support group.  How did everyone do this week?

I went to the doctor on Tuesday.  He thinks I am dealing with a little bit of depression.  Go figure.  I’m overweight and it makes me sad.  When I’m sad, I eat.  Big bad ugly cycle.  So, I’ve been put on a low dose anti-depressant and I’m trying to deal with some of the reasons I over eat.  Hopefully I will be able to end this cycle.

This week I actually worked out three times with my EA Active Sports game!  I didn’t do as many workouts as I was supposed to do for their 30 day challenge, but 3 times in one week is impressive for me. :)   I didn’t lose any weight this week (boo) but I think I am on the right track.  Next week I’ll add in a few more workouts and I’m planning on upping my protein.  We’ll see if i t works.
