Fat Flinging Friday ~ Week 8

Wow,  I can’t believe it’s Friday!  I’m just sitting here watching the Today Show and they said something about the weekend.  I thought, “oh crap!  It’s Friday!”  Where does the week go?

So I hopped up and went into the bathroom to weigh in.

*sigh*

No change.

WTH?  Well, granted, I didn’t exercise this week, I didn’t eat “diet” food.  But I thought I was doing well with no junk food and not over eating.  Maybe the half a package of Oreo’s I ate yesterday didn’t help?

I started this weekly accountability meme to help keep me on track and get me motivated to do better.  It’s obviously not working.  Here I am at week 8 and I’m still as fat as I was on week 1.

So I ran out of beer last night.  I am not going to buy any more.  No matter how “light” Coor’s claims to be, I think it’s sabotaging me.  Besides, with the surrogacy coming up, I told myself when my last box was gone I wouldn’t buy any more to prepare for that.  So I’ll see if that makes a difference this week.  I am hoping that it does.  But then that will kinda make me mad.  I love beer.  Do I love it more than being fat?  Hmmmm….that’s a hard decision!  LOL

My plan for this week:

  • No beer
  • Walk at least 3 times
  • Go in the pool with the boys and do some water aerobics
  • Drink more protein meal replacements

Fat Flinging Friday ~ Week 6

Good morning Flingers!  What’s up?  I am happy today.  I checked my scale and am down 6 pounds!  woot!  It’s the same 6 pounds that I’ve gained and lost over the past few weeks, but at least it was a loss today!  I am also very happy to report that I walked 2 days this week.  YAY me!  Me, my mom and Mr. A. took off walking and did just over 1 mile each day.

I started my damn period today so I’m hoping I am retaining water or something and will be down some more next weigh in.

Who was it that posted about the 100 Push Up Challenge?  Someone left it in a comment somewhere and now I can’t remember where it was. *blush*  Anyhow, I was thinking of trying it.  What do you think?  Too ambitious?  I mean, I only did 2 days of my 30 day  EA Sports Active challenge.  LOL  As much as I tell myself I am going to start busting out, I never do.  So we’ll see.

Fat Flinging Friday ~ Week 5

Honestly, I don’t even want to write this post today.  I’m so frustrated.  I as at the same weight I was last week.  I had a challenge for myslef to get 3 days of exercise in this past week.  I didn’t do it.  Well, yesterday I walked all over hell’s half acre at the San Diego Fair, so that can count as 1 day.  Actually, I should count it as 3 days worth of exercise but that would “technically” be cheating.

So please inspire me with your stories, or if you sucked this week, tell me so I won’t feel so bad.
